Hi all,
The problems described here in vivid colourful detail aside, I am *considering* getting iBurst for home. The catch is, both the missus & I have laptops, and there isn't much scope for setting up a gateway machine in the house for sharing the connection (the idea of a linux box whirring away in the guest room doesn't find favour with the fastidious German head-of-household
).
So can anyone advise on a small router/firewall/gateway/wireless AP product that has a built-in PPPOE client that I can plug an Ethernet iBurst modem into? The general idea is that the device should do everything except connect to the network itself, so that I can plug in an iBurst device or an ADSL modem or whatever access method eventually does take my fancy.
It helps to look around a bit more...I guess the Linksys WRT54G is just the business for this sort of application.
