Slow ADSL in Cape Town?

Is it just me, or is the Ninternet CRAWLING today in Cape Town?

Took me forever to load up Ster Kinekor's site, and I got a torrent going that is crawling along at 20k/sec, on a 1meg line, with LOADS of peers. Most of my peers are on 50k+ at the moment, and they all local peers.

WTF?

Tried my Axxess and my TelkomInternet accounts. Still no dice.

Yup its crawling for me as well, i'm only getting between 4-10kb/s on my torrents.

It's weird. If I stop it and then start it again, or 'manual connect' it bursts to about 40k then drops steadily to about 8-16.
