any one experiencing problems with browsing and gaming with mweb

some sites are really slow to open like standardbank.co.za, absa.co.za, mweb.co.za
but others like myBB is loading without any problems and news24.co.za

speedtest.net keeps giving error when trying to do a test
it tests the ping whihc come to 33ms but after that is just sits and doesn't do the actual test

and WOW gives a latency of 1000ms and up normaly i sit around 300 - 400

Mweb sucks and their support / excuses are pathetic. Why don't you change to a real ISP?

I currently have a lot of business services hosted with mweb so I don't want to start separating everything

The line works great when it works which is telkoms fault
But yesterday it was only affecting some websites not all of them

Just wanted to know if anyone else is experiencing problems

Slow browsing on international

Mweb has been terribly slow for me since Friday on international sites - particularly Gmail.
I have tested with a Telkom and Axxess connection and its just as bad. This was the case all through the weekend and monday.

No problems with my TRL account. Gmail opens in a flash from my side and so does international websites.

It is not Telkom's fault!

Ask Telkom to test your line. Where some of my clients are still using MWEB, I provide them with Telkom accounts and the connectivity is great - It is your ISP!
