I am. Very slow. 4mbit line. Sitting on one of Openweb's gold accounts and nothing faster than 512kb/s. Yes my friend....this is BS!!!

Not that I am aware of. But I am quite sure there is something we are not being told of.

I am on the Titan 3 package from WA and I have to say it is SLOW today....I have a 4Mb line and I am lucky if I see 1.5Mb/s
Early this morning when I tested it, it was running close to 3Mb/s...Must be Seacom again (Not sure if WA uses Seacom, but lets blame them ;P )

Likewise, I think there might be a lot of traffic which is causing latency. Lines are perfect though so it is NOT Seacom related.

I am trying to play Guild Wars; my Afrihost & Axxess Unshaped (FAKE - so THE SAME as normal IS accounts!!!) accounts have constant pings of over 1200ms..... its not too bad but jumps to over 2000ms constantly.

Well, so I changed to my Axxess SAIX unshaped account, and it DOES NOT even connect to the login server of Guild Wars.

So, I have 3x accounts; 2 x IS and 1 x SAIX and ALL THREE FAIL.

I think I will install ubuntu on the laptop in the hope it picks up speed.

It is the cause of latency. Speed is fine for all of us but the slowness is caused by latency in the cable. It sucks hard!

4MB IS Uncapped with Kingsley. International is going very slowly, sites load slowly and torrents wont go over 40kb/s.

Had a look on SAT-3 and SAFE (Telkom International Traffic) - everything is still okay on these two cables. Could it be SEACOM? Hope not again....
