Hi all,

Hope this is in the correct category.

OS: Android 7
Mobile Data: Telkom Mobile ( Mo'Nice deal )

Problem:

Downloading games / apps or updating games / apps via Google Play work 100% via wi-fi. But if I switch off wi-fi and use my mobile data then it takes forever to download games or update them. So long that it pretty much times out.

Plug cell phone into Win 7 PC and surf the net on PC.... Everything works fine. Torrents... Nox Player... Youtube everything. ( This is me using my cell phone as a tethering device. NO wi-fi ).

Why the.... does it bomb out when I use my cell phone data? I can surf the net fine on my phone with cell phone data... I can watch youtube etc etc... It's JUST the downloads / updates from Google Play.

Can anyone perhaps shed some knowledge for me on how to fix this please?

Thank you!

Nope, it's on, "Allow any network"
Once you're on mobile data go into play store and cancel each of the updates, you'll see they all say pending, them restart each update manually, should be at full speed then.

On your phone, clear your data and cache from Google Play Store in the app list.

Thank you for the replies gentlemen. I'll try some of those methods.
