I would appreciate ex-MyWireless ppl msging me to tell me what they've moved to and how it compares to MyWireless...Something else I've been noticing since I moved from classic to flexi is the way download rates jump up and down. I've been monitoring download speeds via NetMeter and it almost always follows a trend of initial fast rates (>80 kBps), then dropping slightly after a few seconds and then sharply dropping to < 10 kBps and even 0 for a few seconds. It then jumps back to the "high" speeds and the cycle continues. Anyone else noticing this pattern? My contract expires next month and I'm wondering what (who) to change to
Exactly my problem as well. I thought that was the whole idea behind broadband... My theory is that because they don't have enough bandwidth, they try to give everyone a turn (so to speak) at experiencing high transfer rates (albeit for a very short time).
. But... it's probably me again... trying to use my Internet connection "irresponsibly" (one of Telkom's infamous statements when people try to use their Broadband connection for the kind of things that people actually get Broadband for). So, my question still remains: "Where to next?"... Has anyone tried to contact Sentech perhaps? I know it's usually a futile exercise... was just wondering.
