So I've just had Vox 100/100 fibre installed on Frogfoot infrastructure. Local speedtests are fine, but international download speeds are quite poor.

The Vox installer was just as baffled as I am, and he could not get any explanation even after several phone calls to Frogfoot as well as higher-ups at Vox.

Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong? Thanks.

WA on Vuma also experiencing slow international speeds.

Some of my clients on Liquid Telecom as well.

There is a major issue somewhere but the ISP's are keeping it shtum it seems.

International download still terrible today. Any Vox representative care to comment?

The plot thickens: When I have a 4K Youtube video playing in the background and I run a speedtest to the Vox POP in London, my download speed goes up to 25mbps. Pause the Youtube video and it drops back down to 6mbps. It's as if my connection gets prioritized when I am streaming from Youtube and deprioritized otherwise.

Vox claims they do not do any traffic shaping, but surely this qualifies as a form of shaping?

Did you ever get this resolved ?

Having the same issues after +-3 weeks on 100/100 uncapped pro fibre with VOX in PE.

In the evenings international speeds go tits up; there is definitely some shaping and capacity issue going on.

it helps if you state what network you're on.
