Hi Guys,
Wonder if anyone can help or confirm this issue isn't just with my line.
I have a 4mb line uncapped unshaped with afrihost.
I can download a test file from saix http://www.saix.net/cgi-bin/speed_test_servers.pl and sit with a pretty consistent 300b/s.
I then try an international file http://www.hawkhost.com/our-hosting-network and i get speeds going up and down from 50b/s to 150b/s. I download 2 files at the same time and the average speed is somewhere around 200b/s but more consistent (as an average).
The same happens with using speedtest but the times are longer with test files so i can monitor the activity better.
ANyone have this problem or know what its about?
I've tried an MWEB account and i get the same issue.
Is there just an issue with international connections at the moment?
