Hi Guys
I have been playing CS again... on and off but since last week I would say the pings on local sites have been... unstable to say the least my last 60 packet ping came back as following:
Packets: Sent = 60, Received = 60, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 40ms, Maximum = 237ms, Average = 56ms
usually around 40-41ms but every 10 packerts or so I get a spike of up to 200 even 400ms. Doing a trace root the first time seems fine then the 2nd time my 2nd hop and 4th hop shows a ping spike
1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms 192.168.0.1
2 20 ms 21 ms 20 ms ndn-165-128-01.telkomadsl.co.za [165.165.128.1]
3 78 ms 86 ms 163 ms ndn-ip-er-1-fe-3-0-0.telkom-ipnet.co.za [196.43
10.130]
4 40 ms 41 ms 39 ms wblv-ip-essr-1-atm-2-0-0-2.telkom-ipnet.co.za [
96.43.11.30]
5 204 ms 41 ms 51 ms wblv-ip-www-1.telkom-ipnet.co.za [196.25.1.200]
Anyone else having this issue? I'm in DBN North area
a little help would be appreciates.
Thanks
