Slow-Mag Goes Woke

I take it before every rugby practice and game.
Since i started doing that i do cramp less. DO not feel fitter or more energy, but find i can keep going a bit longer.
ANd i am 46 and 160kg probably. Since i am not a young fit lad should I stop then?
= fitter + more energy?

All one needs is a cup of coffee. Not these artificial nonsense.
Magnesium definitely helps with endurance exercise regarding cramping, although I buy the Clicks branded one, it's cheaper and has the same ingredients and amounts.

Yeah but it tastes funny.

Magnesium is crucial for hundreds of different biological processes, there shouldn’t be a single person in this thread who doesn’t take Slow-Mag.

@Merck - call me ;)

If you don't do strenuous exercise, a balanced diet should be enough - no need to take supplements unnecessarily

Have seen the ad a few times on youtube and not been offended at all. Initially I noticed that she's overweight but she's pretty.

I thought she gave a bit of a cheeky, tongue-in-cheek smile so kudos to her and to slow-may for having the courage to make the ad.

Eating a nutritionally balanced diet at the recommended caloric intake would leave you about 150mg below optimal levels… our ancestors got that in their drinking water.

Fitter can only come from more exercise. And i do not feel that extra burst of energy, just that the tank can be extended a bit.
Exercise is the stimulus that triggers the change, nothing is happening regarding your fitness if the raw materials to make the biological adaptations aren’t present.

Although the message to show overweight people working out, to get folks in the gym is good.
The message gets lost a bit because of the "fitness influencer" angle.
It is the same as someone that took a kickboxing lesson and now is a online "boxing coach".

If you can be fit but unhealthy, I don’t see why you can’t be fit but overweight. Yes in general fat = metabolic damage but body fat percentage is strongly the result of your body’s set-point and that can be thrown off by a number of things, for example leptin sensitivity.

That is the gist of influencing. South Africa is now littered with food and wine influencers having no cooking clue, but is expecting the Rands to flow in from making a mere step on the premises.

Strictly speaking, Tracey-Lee Lusty is a brand ambassador, so she is a preferred model of choice working directly with the product owner, hence giving an expert opinion.
