I'm on 50 kb/s today, this is ridiculous

Its ridiculous, I've been complaining about bad speeds since June last year, they always say a technician will get back to me, but literally no one follows up on my issue, and I get an auto survey asking me if my query has been resolved.Same with me around 40KB/S, upload around 1mb, and their support is non existent
I have the same issue and I am certain it is the Vodacom towers not being managed properly but Rain don't seem to want to look into it.Its ridiculous, I've been complaining about bad speeds since June last year, they always say a technician will get back to me, but literally no one follows up on my issue, and I get an auto survey asking me if my query has been resolved.

last year Feb the speeds were phenomenal, 20+ mbps at night and 10 - 12 mbps during the day, few months later it dropped to 5-9 mbps day and 10-12 mbps night, and it remained stable for months.Edit: I just noticed my 3 speedtests at lunch were on Cell C on my phone, so there was actually no improvement. My bad. Rain still blows.
even if we game on these speeds the lag is unreal.Same with me around 40KB/S, upload around 1mb, and their support is non existent
I find it slowest between 5pm and about 9ish pm. I think it's congestion. Their towers and the 1800Mhz band just can't cope with the volume at certain times. I can't get 2600Mhz on the tower i connect to unfortunately, else that might have yielded better results. It's been really slow here in PE for the last few days. I think it's mostly daytime congestion, because it's better late at night / early morning.
Bro, are you from 1997? Cos that screenshot is! I remember those kind of speeds on 33.6 dialup, on a bad line. God forbid my mom picked up the phone and interrupted my download.
Congestion. After some serious aiming, checking optimiser and a home made antenna bracket for my XPol 6, I have much better signal on a new tower. Upstream is as high as 12-13mbps. Downstream hovers around 2-3mbps. Which can only mean congestion. As long as it is now stable with my improved signal, I can deal. What kills me is packet loss and dropouts.tested my speed now, and its 0.8 mbps down and 7.5 mbps up.. weird how fast up speed is compared to down
even if we game on these speeds the lag is unreal.
Youtube buffers at 144p resolution.
Speedtest sometimes refuses to load.
Its actually worse than 56k dial up.
Perhaps their taking advantage of their non-existent customer support by giving us bad speeds with no way of contacting them.
