After having several days of good speeds since I got my line problems sorted out thanks to the great folks here at MyBB, yesterday I had a terrible day. Line so slow on everything and all sorts of Google warnings, email server issues and what not.
Turns out the IP address I got issued by my ISP had been blacklisted due to a previous user abusing it for what not.
It caused just about everything I was doing (including accessing my very own servers) to be nothing short of a nightmare.
Even a Google search would keep giving me a captcha to complete with a warning the they had seen massive connections from my IP .... well not from me .... from the abuser who had it before me.
So I do think it's something to add into the checklist of when checking for issues on your ADSL speed.
I have now placed it at the top of my morning checklist now.
