Is anyone else experience very slow download speeds?

Twice in one month, wow, sentech must be really gunning to break the record.

I can barely even browse these forums my connection is so slow. Damn, and just when I finally get a few days off!

Bandwidthplace says: 16kbps. Yes, 16kbps. That's 2KB/s, folks!

Wow, well done Sentech. I guess all that market research paid off! Switching all the classic contract subscribers to flexi worked! The speed has been drastically improved! Not.

Cancel guys, this isn't going to change. It's been more than 2 years of this, I think they're going to see their ass pretty soon.

I told the dude that phoned me to F off. I'm cancelling. **** speed, more than 3 times the price????? Now they want to charge me 60c per meg over my "Soft cap". WHAT THE F???????????

I don't know what to say...
 
It took me 15 minutes just to access this page!

Normally I can at least reach myadsl and sentech when the rest of the net has disappeared - does anyone know what's going on....this time ?
 
Called ( first mistake ! ) - 'no there is no problem that we know of.'

Convinced the support fellow to check - oh yes, apparently...satellite...bad weather... up and down for next two hours... wtf !

Oh. .. and I must in future call No Wire who now have an after hours number -which is an 082 prefix so I guess is someones cellphone. Hmmm

I completed the survey earlier today - can I please change any numbers I gave my adding a minus in front - well actually I gave them a zero for the most part so that won't work.
 
Update - Nowire now operate service calls till 11pm. Great.

The support fellow there said he had just spoken to Sentech and they told him all was well with the world and again nothing was wrong anywhere with anything nowhere nohow.
I suggested he take a look here - he's going to call sentech again and come back to me.
 
internet has been slow the whole day, so whoever hot-boxed the server room and came up with the half backed idea that it was the weather needs to play in the traffic
 
Connection here has been extra fast all day
Im in northern JHB

The 2 towers here and one at a friends place a few Km away were down for a few hours yesterday, and since then connection has been geat
 
When I completed the survey I had to restart each speed test about 3 times before it worked. So officially i was unable to complete a speed test on sentech.
 
I'm still experiencing pathetic speeds. Is anyone else having the same problem?

Sentech are adament that they have no problems at all
 
Once again , Sentech epitomising the concept of K-A-K service.
What beats me is that these people do go home , hug/kiss their wives/husbands and feel great after an "awesome" day at work?

I don't feel cheated.Especially with the heavy dls I do.No not at all
