I'm also experiencing insanely slow speeds at the moment and I'm on 128k classic.

AAAARGH

I get 8.3 KB/s but it feels much slower - pages take ages to load.

dslreports.com speed test result on 2006-08-27 13:41:46 EST:
67 / 11
Your download speed : 67 kbps or 8.3 KB/sec.

Your upload speed : 11 kbps or 1.4 KB/sec.

And lets not forget the awesome latency:

ping www.google.com -t
Pinging www.l.google.com [72.14.221.99] with 32 bytes of data:

Im having speed problems as well.

THIS IS INSANE!

it started to go off like this about a week ago. Before that, it was actualy good, considering that we use sat. i had about 750ms to 850ms what is acceptable. Now, it's back to the same problem. Sentech, you need to be able to walk before you can run, why do u continue to accept new users and dont upgrade your bandwidth? I think it's time we get a garanteed speed on your connections, i say, for a 128kb/s connection, you MUST garantee 128kb/s. I really dont care about what your excuses are, blah blah blah. we want to receive what we are paying for, or, dont adv that you have a 128kb/s service, just adv that you have a service that is slower then pots dial-up, full of latency problems and frequent timeouts rendering anything but browsing inacessible. EVEN FREAKING BROWSING IS SLOW!
