Slow Telkom Internet in Pretoria

Since about mid-day yesterday our Telkom ADSL line is horribly slow. My 8ta sim can't event connect to www.telkommobile.com without timing out.

I got a message from Cybersmart about a line being down between JHB and CPT, could this be part of the issue?
Is it wider than just Pretoria?

Are there any other ISP's that are working well from Gauteng that you know of? I'll open a new account right now, can't "work" like this!

Same problem with my 8ta sim this morning, had to reboot my router to get back online but still can't login on 8ta website.

I switched to my FNB ADSL account and our speed is back to normal.
