Need a bit of help please. Been running a custom ROM from XDA on my SM-N9005 for a few months now. Wanted to go back to a stock firmware, either Vodacom or unbranded, but have not been able to get the phone to connect to the Vodacom network after flashing. If I go back to a few of the custom ROMs everything is working again. I did notice the CSC code had changed from XFV to VOD. I manually changed this back to XFV as a test, but still nothing. I am guessing somewhere along the line something to do with the modem settings has gotten messed up, but I cannot figure out what. I am using the latest download listed at SamMobile. Last ROM I was running was CWM 5.1.1. Trying to go back to 4.2.2.
Any suggestions? Phone is rooted and KNOX was tripped ages ago so I'm not worried about that.
