Small kittens that need a home.

Would love to take one, but my cat, Achmed (the killer cat), would eat it for breakfast!

I hope you find a home for them.

Not all animals...

We were advised to neuter our dog at a young age to try and calm him down (Boisterous bull terrier), it didn't do much to calm him down, but now as a result of the neutering he put on alot of weight.......

I would have preferred to leave him unneutered for a year or two longer then he might not be as heavy.

Yes, it depends. Cats can and should be done young. Between 8 and 14 weeks. There's really currently no excuse for allowing a cat to have kittens. Dogs should be done later and the bigger the dog the later it should be. With dogs it is also easier to keep them from breeding.
