Matte black looks pretty cool, greens pretty much for me hehe but good job. How does the plastidip last on the rims? Thinking of redoing my just to make them look a bit better

Dip lasts very well on the rims, and can also be easily repaired it any damage occurs like a scrape on a curb, Will last as long as you keep them clean and protected like any alloy wheels. If you get a lot of chemicals / petrol on it etc it will break down, but as long as they are looked after it lasts well.

How long is the job guaranteed for?

No job is guaranteed at the end of the day as it it a wear and tear item, its not paint, its a rubber coating, but most jobs hold up 2 - 3 years if not more. dependent on conditions.

How does that change the safety? Plastic is flammable.

How long will the plasti dipped last on the rims ?

As long as you want it to as long as its looked after.

What does this cost in SA? Let's say one colour on an average sedan like a Ford Focus? Plastidip sounds awesome for a new car, it should help prevent chips etc. as well.

Standard Sedan with a standard paint could be around 6 - 7 k depending on finish, color etc, message me if you would like to discuss.

Does the paintwork underneath stay protected?
How easy is it to remove?

YEs the benefit of plasti dip over standard vinyl is that it really does protect your paint underneath.

When removing vinyl there is a risk of lifting the clear coat on paint, and also small knife marks from when people apply and remove vinyl. Plasti Dip does not do this, it removes like vinyl but doesn't leave any glue behind, as there is no clue in the dip, it doesn't rip your top coat either, it is just an amazing product that can protect your paint and also look good at the same time.

Who does this in CPT and what does it cost for doing 4 rims? You mentioned they are easy to repair, how is that done?
