Our current home alarm is getting a bit old now, and I am keen to upgrade.
Looking to get something that hooks up to the net, and sends notifications to my phone (like zone that tripped alarm).
Would also like all sensors etc... to be wiress, if range is decent on these things.
It must also hook up to my security company.
Handy if I can arm/disarm with my phone.

Googling around I came up with Chuango, but unable to find someone that sells a full kit. Are these descents, it is there better?

Anyone with experience in this type of alarm system that can provide a but of guidance?

For what it's worth, When ADT phones, they can tell you which zone triggered the alarm.

Wireless systems require more maintenance. Outside beams, for instance, will require new batteries every few years. They are also open to frequency jamming.

I have just installed a system, and I went with wired sensors for stability and security. I just upgraded my LCD to one with text so that it can display which zone triggered on the screen.

Always play the companies against each other. I got 15% of my original quote.

Good luck.

Have you seen the Texecom app on android? (don't know about IOS). I have VPN setup on phone /home router for when I need to access remotely.
Also: I have a GSM module connected to my alarm system - get SMS alerts when alarm triggers, can arm /disarm with SMS, even open gates.
