Leading on from a previous post I made around smart soundbars (somewhere), I am still getting my head around the audio aspect of the home, which seems to be the hardest thing I have come across (due to price, interoperability, scalability, multi-room....).

Has anyone here used Lithe In-Ceiling speakers and have any review on them? It's probably a long shot since they do seem to be a very niche brand and quite pricey (Sonos Arc level pricing).

I'd also be interested in trying the Sonos Beam but the price of the Gen2 is almost the same as the Lithe speakers.

I've gone for a simpler and cheaper method - using google home minis in each room then linked to HomeAssistant (Music Assistant) to stream to those devices when needed. The Music Assistant is linked to my Apple Music and Youtube music accounts. Its definitely not perfect and multiroom does sometime have lag between speakers

Yeah I know about these devices however I am trying to stay clear of the Amazon/Google ecosystem and going completely local hence the wyoming sattelite.

It's a fun journey but definitely not easy to navigate at times.

A bit off topic though, an interesting find I have come across is WISA (https://www.wisatechnologies.com/) which has potential to change the home audio space in the coming years.
