Smart ID - Collection Process at a Bank

Dear Mybroadband community,
I understand that applying for a Smart ID at a bank requires a booking. Does the same apply when collecting the ID? Meaning, do you also need to make a booking to collect a Smart ID at a bank branch? TIA

Update - went to the back for collection. No appointment was needed, walked in, got the ID and walked out.
