SMART IoT GEYSER

There's another thread here about the issues around using solid state relays for geysers. Be careful it doesnt overheat.

A sonoff is an esp8266 with a smaller relay built in... So not crazy different
 
Why are the wires on the input side of the relay so thin compared to the output?
That is just to switch it on. So 5/12V

The other side is the Live wire to the Geyser

(unlike the sonoff this isn't In-Line)

Would be interesting to see to the left of the picture as it looks the incoming power goes off to that side.

That is just for the signal. 3.3 volt, close to zero amp. That is how solid state relays work. It is obviously single pole.
