Anyone done this?

It looks as easy as clicking ‘add’ - would this make a HomeKit device be seen as a Tuya device? And thus, anything that integrates with Tuya will also control that HomeKit device?

I would imagine that’s for Tuya devices that also support HomeKit.

With Aqara HomeKit devices you pair them in HomeKit and then you can “import” them in Aqara app as they only support one or the other protocol. I suspect this is similar.

But tell me how you got there then I can test it with my HomeKit devices.

Found it.

It’s only a passthrough for adding a HomeKit protocol device for easy pairing.

Device would still need native HomeKit support.

If you press the button you’ll see it just brings up the HomeKit pairing menu.
