Hey all so I already have sonoff light switches love then use them all the time whole house is automated etc

But now I'm looking into smart light bulbs dimmable ones and color changing I'm not talking red and blue but warm to cool kinda vibe.

Anyone use any?

I see tapo and hue? Any other suggestions?
 
I have hue, tuya and some other other tuya compatible brands and sonoff.

Hue is **** expensive but it's the best for quality and colour purity. E.g purple is purple and so reliable. Also works amazing with home assistant.

Colour changing / scenes with tuya bulbs via home assistant is super hit and miss. Quality also sucks.

Sonoff works , colour purity is iffy imho
 
I have the connex range for my lamps. Like them, but at R250 to R300 (off the top of my head, bought them about 4 years ago), I don't think they're worth it. They cool though
 
Ended up with the tapos pretty cool!

Already have automation etc in place with sonoff so keen to get room "feelings" changed with instant warmer/cooler lighting and dimmer et
 
Hi guys, how are your Sonoff bulbs performing on the eWeLink App?

Asking because I had a Sonoff bulb that worked for years but when I tried to add a second one a few weeks ago something went wrong and everything just shows offline. ITEAD are pretending to help but we're not getting anywhere. Local agents are also being helpful but we haven't managed to solve the issue.

I bought a TP-Link Tapo and it connects first time with full functionality so guessing my problem is either eWeLink or ITEAD.

Never used anything else but love the tapo
