Smart phone for hard-up pensioner

This 79 year old lady is on a fixed pension, so I said I would get her a phone. I took her to Pep Cellular but the cheapest one seems to be about R600. It was also a bit sluggish

She won't accept a gift from me. I will pay for it however

Location - Cape Town s/suburbs
Good used one with no damage
Battery life reasonable
Bigger screen preferred
Will pay shipping if you can guarantee that phone is close to 100%

@chrisc MTN have one for R399. Tell the old duck they gave you one for free when you renewed your contact with your new phone and you don't need two phones. Sometimes you have to find ways of fooling them.

I have a Samsung J7 Pro that still works, but needs a new screen (R1,100 from the local shop).
You can have it for free if you are prepared to pay for shipping.
