Smart TV & Android Box Compatibility

Some help guys.
A friend of mine has a Samsung 40j5200 smart TV trying to run MXQ 4K android box.
When plugged in via the HDMI port 1 or 2 sowing nothing just a blank screen.
The box does work on a normal PC monitor though.

You need to set the tv to 'hi/full/wide color mode' since the box connects at 10-bit YUV color automatically.
You can also try a better HDMI cable.
