hi, I've used a normal prepaid cellphone for many years and am now considering getting a low end Motorola phone. I want to go the prepaid route and keep my existing Vodacom number. Is this possible and do I have to buy a Data card as well? Sorry to sound so Doff.

You can't get a Motorola via contract in SA. I recommend getting it from Orange:

I saw the phone on this site and this is why I posed the question. Can I use my existing Vodacom SIM?

You can. If it take the small sim, just cut it.
