Want to get a genuine replacement. Is the only option still iStore?

Is it even worth replacing?

Real Repair Company will do originals or 3rd party, your choice.

I reckon it’s worth it, guess it depends on the second hand value.

iStore is cheaper than them it seems:

R5499 at iStore vs R5999 at Real Repair Company.

Don't think they use original parts?

Got one replaced with generic parts before and it was a terrible experience.

I'm not sure tbh. I haven't used them personally - other than to trade in a device. If they offer a decent warranty and if they're a lot cheaper it might be a option.

You could try Digicape as well. Might as well replace the battery while you at it.
I will check with them, thanks.

The price seems just low enough that it still makes sense to replace the screen versus buying a secondhand newer model .

Claim on insurance and replace that phone at that price from the iStore. That's a ridiculous price.
I replaced my iPhone 6's screen with a $25 off Amazon and it worked just as well. It is possible.

DigiCape quoted R7000. By far the most expensive. Seems like iStore might be the best option.

I've replaced an iPhone screen before with a non-original. Touch sensitivity went haywire, registered double tabs, had a weird indentation and colour. Never again.

And no insurance to claim from.
