Hi, if anyone of you owns a SMC 7404 ADSL Barricade router, I have written a utility that will monitor the router at regular intervals (user set) and extract the pityful log that the router keeps into a useful text file on your PC.
The application also monitors and reports the current WAN IP from a console screen.
This might work with the SMC 7401 BRA router, I am not sure. If someone wants to try this out, goto the site and download the app. I am releasing the app as freeware and does not contain spyware, malware etc.
I hope to recover some of the costs of development from the advertising on the site. It doesn't pay much, but hell this is a hobby project.
PS. I have been using it for the last 8 months 24x7 with no issues on one of my PC's

If you guys/girls have a need for other routers etc. I would be glad look into modifying the code to get it to work with them...
