We've been using Netgear smart switches for a while. They've always been a bit of a trade-off between features, usability and cost. For the most part they just work, where units have failed they have been replaced under warranty in a timely fashion. Where I am getting annoyed is their poor excuse for a web interface which pretty much only works with IE and with every new version of IE becomes exponentially more temperamental (compatibility mode only gets you so far).
Anyone have any alternatives to suggest in the same sort of price range? Typical level of switch:
