Please Share your smoothie recipes. I currently only have 2 options
Thanx

(this is enough for 2 breakfast smoothies )

250ml low fat strawberry yoghurt
2 bananas
¼ packet of frozen summer berries
2 scoops whey.
6 Ice cubes

Blend away.

Second option I use Mango in the place of the berries.
It’s awesome with frozen yoghurt but not as healthy since it contains more sugar.

I use juice, yoghurt and fruits.

Whatever combination of the above I happen to have.

I've recently started eating at Kauie(sp?) never been much of a smoothie person but the cashier suggested I tried "The Gem", man what a delicious drink. Just convinced myself to go there for lunch today, one Big Kahuna steak roll & small The Gem smoothie, yumbos!

Kauai's prices are crazy.

My default smoothies atm:

2 thick slices of pineapple
1 apple
1 large banana
1 large carrot
1 pear (optional)

Chop these all up and chuck them in your blender/juicer. Add milk and whammo. Made myself a 800 ml smoothie for supper last night and it hit the spot. Just a warning, you will usually wake up feeling a bit peckish if you use this as a meal replacement.

Protein smoothie

1 or 2 large bananas
2-3 really heaped tablespoons of peanut butter
Full cream milk
Small piece of chocolate to add a bit of sweetness
A small amount of protein power (optional)

This smoothie is quite thick, but it's also quite tasty.

For those who love chocolate, it goes together well with peanut butter.

plain yoghurt
milk
peanut butter
chocolate powder, like hot chocolate - not Milo (it doesn't dissolve well)
honey - as a sweetener

I have a few different ones I like to make.

This is a breakfast favourite of mine.

250ml organic low fat vanilla yoghurt
1 sliced frozen banana
Dash of apple juice (50ml-100ml)
Tablespoon Jungle oat bran
Dessert spoon Chia seeds
2 Tablespoons frozen blueberries
1 Apple (cored)
Dash of Agave nectar
Dash of fat-free milk (50ml)
1-1/2 cups ice
> Blend on high for 1-2min.

Instead of chocolate, try a dash of vanilla essence...

Apple
Carrot
Pineapple
fresh ginger
bulgarian plain yogurt
orange juice

... slice up and freeze the pineapple and apple overnight

Juiced orange with whole strawberries and guavas.

Kiwi, strawberry and guava.

Actually, they're not smoothies, they're just juice since I only use fruit.

Sorry.

Still have to find something that doesn't contain dairy or large amounts of sugar.
