I have recently installed smoothwall on an old box as to monitor the internet bandwitdth on a shared internet connection.
So far I have:
Set it to RED + GREEN mode
Configured my 2 NICS
Configured my DSL router to work in bridged mode
Done all the ppp settings in sm,
I can access the sm control panel externally and connect to my PPP service.
But once ppp is connected, i am stil not able to connect to the internet.
Even within the sm control panel, i cannot register it as it fails to connect.
any help would be gladly appreciated.

pentium celeron 600,
289mb ram,
10gb hdd,
2 X realtec nics,
1 x Billion 5200(s) [RED] (192.168.1.254)
1 x Netgear WGR614 4 port router with wireless [GREEN] (192.168.1.1)
I am connecting with a macbook pro which i have set to have a static ip (192.168.1.150).
any other info ?
