So merrilly i go... sms'ing wildly from the first of the month to all random people that i spend my life sms'ing
Then last night i get my Vodacom bill by email (very handy i must admit).... HEY.... WAAAIT.... i wasn't charged for an sms bundle this month - what gives.
So i pop over to vodacom4me and sure enough theres no sms bundle loaded and i've been charged std rates for all the sms'es i sent this week
So i head over to my local Vodashop this morning - and i'm keen to really bend a sales person's ear over this.
I walk in and start ranting to the first sales assistant that approaches. He looks at me and shrugs - "Sorry mate they screwed me this month as well - some error in their system and now we have to reload the bundles every month"
WTF?!?!
Then he turns to one of the other staff who echos his woes...
This guy then procedes to try in vain for about 20 mins to contact customer support to get the issue resolved - to no avail.
He then suggests that i phone customer support myself later and gives me all the details i need.
Then i quiz him - "Will i be getting a credit for all the sms'es that i was overcharged".... Shrugs - "Probably not...."
By this stage i cannot be mad at this dude anymore and leave without really solving anything - but the point still remains: I've been screwed out of cash by a system stuff up and it seems hardly worth my while to fight for my money back - is that customer service or what?
