SMS bundles expiry

I read an old post here which said that CellC's sms bundles do not expire Is that still true?
Is there any prepaid SP that offers this? I need it for a very low volume number, less than 20 texts per month.

Telkom's sms bundles also expire after the end of the following month. Don't know about the others

May I ask why you still uses SMSs and not IM platforms?

It's for communicating with people not on IM platforms.

It's probably easier to just pay the R15 for your 20 SMS a month?

True, except I've been buying them via FNB and the minimum is a bundle of 50, so I waste about 30.
