SMS Count

Does anyone know if there is a way to see how many SMS messages are stored on the IPhone without actually trying to count them?!?

i dont think its possible with the iphone but there are apps that count how many apps you send and recieve, like smshelper, but i dont know if its free

Can you not just export them to an xml file or another format, open that and check the count?

Delete all your sms messages, at that point it should be very easy to count.
