SMS Primary Rate Service

Guys I want to start a primary rate service or short code service as it is also called. You know those services where you send a sms to enter a competition at a cost of say R1.50. I don't want to create a competition. I want to run the service.

Simple question - Where do I start?

Money, it costs money. If you have capital then you either can go through an existing company or you have to develop using the networks.

Remember the network gets half so a R1.50 sms yields half that plus your return SMS cost of ~21c in bulk

Okay, so let's assume the "money" part is taken care of. Where do I start. Why must I work through an existing company and share whatever profits I can make with them? I want to be the first in line and run the service just like the existing company does.
