We are looking for a solution that allows us to better manage our sim cards in the field. We have systems that rely on SMS bundles to communicate with operators.

We cannot accurately predict the amount of SMS we'll need each month and therefore have to estimate and sign a contract based on that. This either has us wasting bundles on multiple of our sim cards or having to buy extra bundles towards the end of the month. We are looking for a service that would allow us to transfer SMS between multiple sims or perhaps a solution that offers a global pool where we can buy a single bundle that all our sims cards pull from.

Afrihost allows transferring of data between sims via their website which is great but we require the same functionality with SMS. The remote nature of our sites and stations means that we can't use data unfortunately.

MTN Business is advertising the Shareable Solution below, but unfortunately it only talks about sharing Minutes and Data between employees:

then they also have Unified Communications > MULTI SIM

and Enterprise Mobility > Bulk SMS

There is a Telegram bot that will forward sms's to Telegram. So in incoming sms on one device can be relayed to a Telegram group (sorry limited to just 200k members per group)

You may need someone to help with this, but it should be fairly simple.

If you can't use the above. Contact Vodacom Business or make an appointment to see a Business Consultant at one of their Stores.
AFAIK, they have multiple sms solutions.

Came across this app that may be of use to you regarding a single sms that needs to get to many users. You have one device that receives the sms. It the automatically sends it to a Telegram group.

You can order simcards via https://simcloud.co.za and you can buy airtime and data for the sim cards (direct recharge).

For SMS I'd suggest use the API from logicSMS and build out your app. (that will allow you to have a centralized sms facility with a single wallet/pool)
