So I've always been a bit of a snorer. Of late it's gotten so bad that the missus gets out of our bed and in with the youngling.

Nothing I've tried so far helps. I'm pretty much considering surgery at this stage. What can I say - I'm a cuddler and waking up alone sucks.

Anyone deal with snoring successful? Please save the old wives tales. Tried and tested please. First hand accounts.

Tried and test and guaranteed results would be surgery, nothing else im aware of. Though I will admit snoring is not something I encountered a lot

those arent guaranteed, he can try it. The weight loss and pillows are viable

As is the alcohol, sleep position and hydration. Although I might choose snoring over giving up booze - in that sense it certainly isn't viable...

Get your wife to kick you over onto your side. Most people snore on their backs. If you snore on all sides, then go for surgery. Losing weight, a good height on your pillow to match your spine and all that will help, but they are a very long term, lots of work solution. And they are possibly not even going to help you.

I snore from time to time, only on my back though. If I wake the wife, she shoves me in the side and I roll over. Snoring stops. As I said, if you snore on all sides, then try the other things, but consider the surgery.

Just drug the wife with sleep agents

snoring is hereditary, everyone in my family does it.

I snore, no matter what side I lie on. I recommend ear plugs for your spouse, or surgery for you.

Well be losing some weight. Wife had been complaining it has worsened. So I will attempt that. Although, I didn't know about the pillow height info.

Wow - solid feedback!

I snore like a trooper after a couple of drinks.
Used to be only after drinking. When I hit 30 that changed.

The missus has a hard time moving or waking me. Before she got pregnant she was like 55kg. I'm 95kg.

Soon as she delivers, that's what I'm doing! :D

My father and brothers also snore like a boss. Their SOs don't seem to be affected or have gone deaf over time.

What's your weight Unskinny?
Obesity is the no 1 cause of snoring.
95kg. Gym fit. Working on general fitness. BMI is around 24.

Still have your adenoids? Apparently snoring can be greatly reduced by removing them and you won't miss them.

Think that's the surgery everyone suggests. Still have mine - whatever they're for.

Bmi of 24 aint great is it?

It's not bad, considering it's winter. Think under weight for men is below 18 and obese is over 28 or even 30.

Schitt, sometimes I snore so loud I wake myself :D

But then again I only snore when I had a few

Yeah but really surgery? thats expensive man, money better spent on the household

Milk and late night drinking of alcohol/coffee makes me snore.
