Looking at upgrading OSX and believe it or not I'm still on Leopard 10.5.8 and pretty happy actually but looking at trying out FCP X and need 10.6.8 at least. Where's the cheapest place to get Snow Leopard. I tried my local iStore they wanted R500 and something but I can remember it being R300. Did not help because they did not have stock anyways. They had Lion but I hear you have to got through Snow Leopard to install Lion.

Thanks....

Dionwired usually has for R329 - there should be one in the Pta area close to you. Incredible Corruption also keeps stock sometimes so maybe them too at that price. Last time I was at Vodaworld, I did see it on the shelves there too.

Shot Gregory forgot about Dion Wired. Tell me can we get Lion on thumb drive yet in South Africa?

HAven't seen it yet but the Digicape store in Rivonia just gave me a disc (free) and all I had to do was buy it from AppStore, unlike the iStore which wants to charge R70 or something. Shout if you don't come right at DW - I'll check this side. Worst comes to worst, I do have it and we can make a plan

No luck at iStore, Dion Wired or Incredible so far. Digicape will install for an hours labour R500 lol
