The last of Apple's OSes to make it to DVD can be bought at iStore in Fourways Mall, if anyone is interested. They have about 5 copies left. I know it is an old OS but I do remember people asking here if anyone has a copy. So, if you want it, get 'em while you can.

There is really no reason to be using 10.6. Its really old these days. It would be like buying Windows XP for your. New computer.

True that - except in the hackintosh community it is the last boot CD that was released and can often help in starting a HAck construction. Also, there is nothing wrong with SL and since Macs have a long shelf life, it is the ceiling for some of the earlier intel machines so having that resource doesn't hurt.

You make a good point there - I never said it's invalid OS - just ML (10.8) should be on any Mac that can support it.

As the for Hackintosh community -also a good point.
