I want to go up and take photos but none of my friends want to take a nice brisk 5 hour hike up,[-]and the cable car is out of service[/-]

This rain right now will surely melt it all very quickly. If I didn't have work to do I'd offer to head up with you as I'm also quite keen to go plant a flagAugust 2011 apparently (http://tablemountain.net/blog/entry/snow_on_table_mountain_2013/)

The CT weather is unbelievable. I mean here in JHB we are wearing short sleeved clothing today, nice and hot day.
Would love to be in CT though, sipping on a red wine, watching the view from my window

Yeah I'm at work too, don't think the boss would be very impressed if I asked if I can take the day off to go climbing up the mountain in this weather

We get snow in the Cape every year. Just not on Table Mountain.

My mom just WhatsApped this to me. Clanwilliam and it is pissing with rain in Vredendal which is very strange on its own. Meanwhile here in Joburg her kids are sitting with the airconditiong on in offices lol

It snows every year on Table Mountain but not always as much as today.

This is just so typical. I spend most in my life in South Africa, I never get any snow. I move off to the cold north and we end up having the warmest spring/summer in FOREVER, heatwaves all over the place while South Africa goes and has the next ice-age
