Hey there guys.

I am on a 1Mbps line with Mweb uncapped, but my line keeps on dropping, and I have to subsequently restart my router. Unplugging the power cable, waiting for 20sec and plugging it back in for it to work. I have a TP-Link TD-W8960N. It worked perfectly when I have the 384 connection. But as stated, it keep dropping now. here is my output:
Downstream Upstream
Line Coding(Trellis): On On
SNR Margin (0.1 dB): 156 117
Attenuation (0.1 dB): 350 396
Output Power (0.1 dBm): 0 128
Attainable Rate (Kbps): 9260 660

That looks heavy high to me, but I could be wrong.

Is this a problem with my router or my ISP?

Does your SNR stay at 15.6 or does it go down before the line drops? (to lets say a lower value like 5-6)

Line drops can also be other things on the line, like a telephone, fax or alarm system without a ADSL filter on.

I will keep an eye out on that. Not 100% sure. But nothing is on that line, as in, it goes straight from the wall to my router. No alarm in the house either. It seems to be in the pm. When i wake up, its off. Been happening every single day now for the past couple of months. But as I said in my previous post, with the 384, it was extremely stable. I think I encountered 2 drops in the year that I had it.

Good morning Inn3rs3lf, please advise if there is any noise on your analogue/telephone line? Please also note that you would require filters on all points being plugged into wall jacks.

Also, I checked the line readings, they are irregular. Please advise if you can test the router at another location or if you could test your details in another router.
