I've been using Internet Download Manager to download the entire EVE Mac client from their website. I'm currently on iBurst.

2.3 gigs through, it suddenly drops to 0 KB/s! The attached screen-shot describes the overall situation better than I can. I have tried restarting my iBurst modem, reconnecting, using a proxy, all to no avail.

Is there any way I can continue this download and not lose 2.3 gigs worth of bandwidth?

If I restarted the iBurst connection, surely that means I stopped the download and resumed it? :P

I'm not familiar with IDM, but most download managers tell you whether they'll be able to restart the download or not. (FDM does so in the log at the bottom of the screen).

In this case, your using a CDN which is probably the case of your troubles. CDNs often have protection in place to make sure that no hotlinking can take place.

You're best bet is to add a mirror. i.e. find the same file somewhere else and add that as a mirror. Works under FDM, but again, no idea whether IDM can do this. Presumably yes.

This is of course assuming this is not some iBurst fluke, which is really not my area of expertise.
