So, has anyone enabled the multitouch on their X10's yet?

Not at all. Vanilla 2.2 is waaaay better without the SE stuff. Take nothing away from Mediascape, Timescape and SE's Social Phonebook. They're great apps in their own right (Even though some go as far as calling them bloatware and junk.. beats me, but to each his own). But they also slow down your phone much.

There are replacement apps (Winamp, froyos stock video player, froyos stock music app, stock 3D gallery, pure messenger widgets and LauncherPro's widgets) that do the same things as the above mentioned ones and most of the time theres less strain om your memory and battery life.

I highly recommend it till the Gingerbread/CyanogenMOD ROMs are stable and released.

+1 Great ROM! Small Wifi instability at times but not enough to put me off it. Go get it!!!
 
Updated my Nordic region X10 to 2.1.A.0.435 fw last night, this must be THEE BEST FW SE have released, the UI has got a speed boost and is much more fluid, Mediascape has got a bit of a facelift, its faster and its frontpage is more customizable.

Multitouch is working in Maps, Android Gallery, Web browser, games and all other apps ive tried so far except Mediascape which has One-Finger-Zoom, IMO this is a much better solution than the gimmicky Pinch-to-zoom we have in the web browser, android gallery etc... wish they had used One finger zoom in the web browser.
Battery life seems to have improved even further.

Overall happy with this update, and it seems SE arent done updating it, it now sends anonymous bug reports to them.
