Ok, so FINALLY Telkom installed my dsl line on Friday.

I got the 1Gb int and 10Gb local from OpenWeb.

I browsed through some forum discussions and it seems like the int. cap won't only be used for int. browsing. Is that true?

If so, what can I do to save my int. cap from being used by local browsing/emails etc etc...

Choose another ISP like MWEB or OpenWeb's uncapped. Cancel the 1(useless)GB from Telkom. And never worry about saving bandwidth again.
 
Snap never noticed you're with Openweb, but still the same predicament.

Get uncapped from Mweb.

Or Openweb is now also reselling Mweb's uncapped accounts.
 
Then cancell the 1GB subscription & 10GB, maybe priced at R149. Add another (R239-R149) R90 and get unlimited Internet.
 
Get a sainet account. They split the local and intl connection for you. So intl only gets used for intl traffic
 
Or simply use sainet.co.za

They split local and international for you.
 
Kewl! And not to expensive either!! Do you know how many concurrent connections on their products? I don't see it on the website...
 
Decent uncapped hits the country and still people are looking for local bandwidth? :wtf:

$$$$$$ my friend. Just because uncapped is affordable, doesn't mean everyone can afford it. But if you can give me uncapped at R89 p/m i'll go for it :-)
