Guess what was the first thing I did the next day, downgrade my dstv to compact, lol but serious Netflix is awesome, I'm so happy streaming is perfect. Really happy with the service, I don't really like hulu that much and as a result I will be cancelling it. Thanks my broadband for encouraging me to try something different.

Only watching Netflix now my sabnzb queue is Pilling up, as a result of pausing all downloads so streaming works but really happy might ditch downloading for good as well.

Excuse my typing and English sending this from my phone

What sort of line would be able to handle it?

Is a 2 meg strong enough to stream SD content?

I was thinking of going PS4, and sending my Xbox my parents way so they have decent stuff to watch :D

Aren't there limits on what the PS4 will do? I read somewhere on this forum that people will now rather go with the MS whatsitsname.

Try netflix uk, apparently you get more shows and stuff is newer. You just need to change your 'location'

As mentioned in another thread, am streaming netflix US through my ibust connection. Admittedly probably more buffering time outs than adsl but it is watchable ... ibust generally a .5mb connection. Currently watching the Fringe series .

Yes 2mb is perfectly fine.

Also been watching a bunch of Netflix this last week. Mainly documentaries. Really enjoyed the few episodes of Bloomberg's Brink.

How many movies and series are there to choose from?
I just want to know whether the selection is big enough for me.

There are many. What do you want to watch and I will tell you if it is there?

It's mainly archived stuff so older series and movies, and some of the companies' stuff isn't there eg. HBO but I'm definitely still getting my money's worth.

Walking Dead season 4? Family guy S12? The Big Bang Theory S7?
Does it have Oblivion or The Hobbit?

Netflix UK has about half of what you mentioned.

But since it's obvious you only want the latest stuff might as well stay a pirate.

Season 4 of The Walking Dead is new so no it isn't there.
Family guy up to season 10.
No big bang theory.
Doesn't have Oblivion or The Hobbit.

As I said it's mainly older things. All the star treks, I'm currently finihsing up with Nip Tuck.
There's A LOT of content.
I would suggest getting it for a month and just looking through the stuff it has.

I got it because I couldn't torrent Star Trek to be honest, and I now find it so convenient.
I'm not a series hoarder so it's great to stream it.

I have been downloading for a month on netflix US ,,, I will be subscribing in a day or two. Hulu+ hasnt yet grabbed my attention.

Also decided to try it out earlier this morning. I used Mediahint at first and have signed up with the 8 day unotelly trial but I cant get it to stream in HD. This on a 10Mb line syncing at 8Mb. Possibly a setup issue?
