and started pushing teh overclock even moar:D
posting this at 3.7Ghz rock stable:)

Vcore in BIOS is set to 1.29, max temps on 1 hour of orthos is 45 degrees Celsius
( btw i think a have a good sample as toms hardware needed like 1.4v on the core to get 3.8 Ghz? )

I WANT MOAAAAR:mad: lol so close to my first 4Ghz ever i am wondering if i should push it a lil more?

Cheers:D

Just keep a bucket of water near your PC.:p

4Ghz

So i managed 4Ghz @ 1.385 Vcore:D
But wasn't stable enough to run super pi, all i could manage was a screen shot lol. I know i cant get this chip at 4ghz stable, my guestimate is 1.4 Vcore but i don't want to push it that hard just yet

here, i cropped out the important bit so its clear to read

select the program , then screen shot it.

lol of course i am doing it haha :)
yeah thats like a 65% overclock?

Nice FSB, maybe run a bandwidth test at the highest you can get it to complete, would be interesting to know along with the RAM information.

Check your temps with realtemp and let me know if there is any difference between the orthos temps

If you hold down ALT and then press print screen it captures just the active window.
Sweet, didnt know that

Yeah 1688 is quite high, this mobo says its rated to 1600

Orthos doesnt give me any temps, at 3.7 full load is around 45 using realtemp. Im only using air so when i go water im sure i could hit 4ghz+.

But i do find that realtemp is most accurate ( i did that tj-max trick )

What is general room temp ?

Asking because those temps seem incredibly low also which chip do you have as cpu-z shows 8190 and 7300 ?

i have the e7300 hey, realtemp reports it as 45 but for example pc wizzard reports it as 51
