So i recently got the Huawei P8 Lite and would like to find out from you guys which Apps i can remove and which are unnecessary on the phone as im really afraid to deleat and remove some stuff. My reason for also looking to remove unnecessary apps that come standard on the phone is because i only have 16gb of storage, i cannot upgrade to more storage as i am using the SD card slot as my second sim.


Also please advise on which apps i can used to set my data limits so that i do not go beyond my data contract limits?

Hi Ahmedy. Sorry I can't answer your question but I have one for you.

How does the 2nd sim work because I inserted a second sim but the phone doesn't seem to pick it up. Also I cant find anything on the phone about a 2nd sim or dual sim in the settings.

Congrats on a great phone. There's a whole thread dedicated to the P8 and lite. Try searching in there.

@Fappas - i followed the below instructions and was able to change mine from single sim to dual sim. This was posted by Titanic1 on the forum.
Once i followed the below, i tested my phone to see if it was truly dual sim by getting various sims and trying them concurrently on the phone. Hope this helps, it did for me but it has no guarantees

convert from single sim to dual sim for build number ALE-L21C02B130 to ALE-L21V100R001C432B046b

Follow the instructions from post #1 in this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/p8li...-lite-t3125331

1. Download the firmware from the "mega.co.nz" link in the above xda link.
2. Read the instructions included in the archive which you have downloaded (Word file).
3. Follow steps 1 and 2, and then do step 1 again.

download the file from the mega.co.nz link with a laptop and then transferred the files to an SD card before each step and then inserted into the phone (repeated 3 times). No root necessary.
