Oh yes .....

Made some chorizo and beef bratwurst - boerie with oraganum

Braai'd some chorizo to taste - rest curing in the biltong box. Cant wait!!

Wors .... well had some for lunch ..... lekkerer than lekker.


Oh fek .... cant spell sausage :o
 
They look like sausages to me.
 
I make one sausage every second day. But yours look better.
 
Well I should hope they taste OK othewise that's one helluva expensive experiment!

I'll do my first batch of sausages this weekend, but I wont use the natural ones.

I will suggest that you add some water to the mix, it makes the sausage ''flow'' easier and more regularly into the casing.

Also, once you have minced up your filling, its easy to play with spices.

You can get a smoke sauce additive from Crown - its the easy way to get that smoked barbeque flavour.

I have been wanting to do this for a while now. I will have to go buy a meat mincer now.
