But I've no idea how to use it or start downloading?
Do i put my account name and password on grabit that I used to sign up?
What hostname do i use?

Just curious but what made you choose usenet.com over Giganews or Easynews?

Just wanted to try them first?
Trial btw..

How on earth does it work? I thouhgt that u just downloadnormal NZB's and just download them off Grabit :(

whats the point of these paid usenet servers if you gonna have to use international bw anyway to access them. Unless you have uncapped account. Some of these companies should start server farms in SA, give IS and SAIX a bit of competition.

This is the message I get:

alt.binaries.movies.divx does not exist on this server.

WTF I thought all of them would be on it??

Server name will be on their site somewhere surely. User name and pass should be your user and pass for the server...
Search for stuff to download with their own tools or www.newzleech.com

I ask the same question. Especially if you are using it to downlaod content like movies. If you use R70/GB as the benchmark, then even a 750MB file costs you in the region of R51. Compare that say to being able to hire from Push Play at R59pm. So I suppose it becomes a question of how much you value being able to get the latest content immediately. Even with the SAIX server the way it is, I am not convinced the numbers work for me.

I've got 10GB of Int. to kill
And I want it full speed.. First time, just want to try it out:p

And I have 20Gb local traffic to kill... for R149 :D
I d/l at night when I sleep... speed means little then!

I used to use EasyNews back in the day of the WA 30GB accounts. I can really recommend their service, I particularly liked the option to zip and package files together.

Have you not tried to download a list of groups first? Not all servers carry all groups... Many usenet servers even block some groups due to legal restrictions.
